Meaghen Gallucci, PMHNP-BC, MSN
Meaghen is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner caring for clients with mental health needs across the lifespan. Meaghen has a strong background in neurodevelopmental disorders, mental health disorders as well as medically complex clients having worked in many areas including psychiatry, cardiology and surgery at Boston Children's Hospital. Meaghen left Boston Children’s Hospital to join Jewish Family and Children’s Services in 2013 to focus on the medical and mental health of individuals with intellectual and developmental diagnose. As the mother of a child with an Autism Spectrum Diagnoses, Meaghen sought to gain knowledge of available services and opportunities available to her daughter. With personal experience, Meaghen knows the complex challenges and needs that impact families of individuals with mental health challenges. With a personal understanding of the stress of working with many providers ranging from health care providers, school programs, DDS and other government agencies, Meaghen understands the complexity but also the frustration with what feels like a “broken system.” Meaghen is active in the Special Needs community both in Newton and at the state level serving as a stakeholder for the AFC program working with MassHealth as well as DDS to improve services and care to individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and mental health disorders across Massachusetts. When Meaghen is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her children both who are teenagers and cuddling with their corgi, Ace.
